Cranswick Country Foods, Staithes Road, Preston, Hull, HU12 8TB. Cranswick is a leading UK food producer with revenue of over £2.6 Billion. We produce and supply premium food to high profile UK grocery retailers, the food service sector and other UK and global customers. We are currently recruiting for label verifiers – you would be responsible for ensuring all labelling at the end of the production line is completed to a high level. You would be second in command to the Line Leader.

Main Duties Include (but not limited to):

  • Work closely with line leader to ensure the production plan is completed, maintaining a high level of quality of work.
  • Efficiently fill out relevant paperwork and documentation in accordance with our legislations.
  • Perform Gas checks and label scan checks.
  • Be familiar with quality and customer specifications using the on the line QAS.
  • Ensure that lost production time is kept to a minimum by maintaining the speed of the line, and to minimise the waste of raw materials, packaging and consumables.
  • Ensure labels are correct and signed off when collecting from stores.

What We Look For:

  • Previous experience in a similar role – label checking / quality assurance / experienced production operative.
  • Previous experience in fast moving consumer goods manufacturing.
  • Able to work in fast‑paced environment to daily targets.
  • Strong levels of attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
  • Suitable transport to get to site – HU12 8TB.
