Pay Rates: Shift Patterns

  • FMP (Fresh Meat Processing) 06:00–14:00 or 14:00–22:00 (8-hour shifts, rotating weekly)
  • High Risk – Slicing / Boxing & Despatch 06:00–18:00 (Days) 18:00–06:00 (Nights)

As a full-time, permanent Production Operative, you will help us deliver high-quality, great-tasting, and safe meat products to customers nationwide. Whether you’re looking to build a long-term career or take the first step into food manufacturing, we’ll give you the training, support, and opportunities to grow.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work in one of our key departments: High Risk – Slicing, FMP (Fresh Meat Processing), Boxing & Despatch, or Hygiene.
  • Prepare, cook, slice, pack, or box meat products.
  • Work on a production line using site-specific equipment (training provided).
  • Follow health & safety, food safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.
  • Meet daily production targets with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Work flexibly across areas to support business needs.
  • Maintain clean and organised workspaces.
  • Participate in audits and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Lift products or equipment up to 15kg as part of your duties.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, chilled food production environment.

What You’ll Bring:

  • A good level of physical fitness for lifting and moving products for 12-hour shift periods (with 3 x 30 minute breaks).
  • A positive, energetic and upbeat attitude with a keen willingness to learn.
  • Reliability and the ability to follow clear instructions and detailed procedures.
  • Experience in food manufacturing is a bonus – but not essential. Full training will be provided for all new starters.
  • The ability to be a team player, who takes pride in their work.
