About the Role
Elsham Linc Ltd are based predominantly in Lincolnshire, breeding and rearing pigs to Red Tractor standards. We are part of industry leading food producer Cranswick, a progressive FTSE250 Company. An opportunity has arisen to join our small operations team at the Mill. The Mill is a key production facility within our organisation, making and distributing circa 1,400 tonnes of animal feed a week. The role is part of our team that operates the mill from receiving raw materials right through to loading the finished feed onto the delivery vehicles. Full on the job training and support is provided to understand the various functional roles within the feed mill.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine and test bulk raw materials.
- Prepare hand weighed additives.
- Set up and monitor pellet presses.
- Ensuring feed is produced in accordance with company and UFAS standards.
- Complete paperwork for product traceability.
- General housekeeping to ensure the mill remains clean and tidy.
