About the Role
Cranswick Farming Division are seeking a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Operative to carry out a wide range of maintenance, repair, and small project work across multiple sites in the Elsham area and surrounding locations south of the Humber. This is a varied, hands‑on role suited to someone practical, reliable, and able to work independently. The position involves both reactive maintenance and planned project work, making it ideal for someone with a broad skillset across multiple trades.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out repairs and small project works as required
- Metal work including welding and fabrication
- Concrete work and block laying
- Water pipe repairs and new installations/replacements
- Identifying issues and resolving them efficiently with minimal supervision
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and a safe working environment
About You
- Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance or similar role
- Practical skills across a range of trades (e.g. building, plumbing, fabrication)
- Welding experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and manage workload across different sites
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Strong work ethic with a reliable and flexible approach
- Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
