Cranswick Milling operates from our Fridaythorpe Mill, producing and delivering pig feed to our own farms within our parent company Cranswick plc, a progressive FTSE250 Company.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring health and safety of equipment and compliance to HSE legislation.
- Completing PPMs and updating the CMMS.
- Maximising equipment uptime while troubleshooting mechanical and electrical failures.
- Participating in the on‑call rota to support out‑of‑hours production.
- Suggesting and implementing improvement ideas to increase site capacity, reliability and quality.
- Involved in capital project development and execution.
- Ensuring spare parts and consumables stocks are maintained.
- Supporting the Engineering Manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Engineering.
- Strong mechanical and electrical background.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset.

- Self‑starter with a strong work ethic and able to work independently.
