Location: Milton Keynes
Hours: Days – 06:00 to 18:00 | 4 days on, 4 days off (including weekends & UK public holidays)
Salary: Starting at £13.50/hr during 12-week paid training, rising to £15.65/hr after training
Contract: Full-time, permanent | Weekly paid

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Machine Setter and Advanced Production Operative, you’ll play a vital role in our production line by:

Setting up and calibrating our state-of-the-art meat slicing machines accurately for each product run.

Loading products into slicing machines efficiently and safely.

Operating hand slicer machines with care and precision.

Troubleshooting basic machine settings and escalating technical issues to our Engineering team when needed.

Completing quality paperwork accurately and supporting our high-quality standards.

Training and guiding Operatives and Agency staff.

Deputising for the Team Leader when required.

Who We’re Looking For

We want motivated, dependable people with:

A sharp eye for detail and the ability to spot any anomalies.

Good English reading and writing skills.

A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills.

Comfort working in a refrigerated, fast-paced factory environment.

Previous experience in production or machinery operation is a bonus but not essential — we’ll train the right people!
