Machine Minder

Cranswick Gourmet Sausage Co. (Lazenby's) is our fast-paced sausage facility located in Hull. Using only the best cuts of British pork, fresh herbs, and spices, Cranswick is the UK's leading producer of gourmet sausages, supplying major retailers and food service outlets alike. Due to the growth of our business, we are expanding our night shift and recruiting for a Machine Minder. Shifts - 4 on 4 off 18:00-06:00 Pay - £16.77 per hour Main duties include:

• Work with the shift manager at the start of each shift, to work through the night shift plan by ensuring the next line needed on the plan is ready and all machines are set up with the correct product, for the Line Leader to move to on time.
• Work with the hygiene team during, and at the end of shift, so the lines required during the shift are cleaned in a timely manner, to eliminate downtime when moving lines.
• Eliminate all line set-up downtime
• Assist the hygiene team by stripping down machines for cleaning
  The ideal person would be someone with experience in production lines. As well as an understanding of key products. However, for the right candidate, full training will be given.
• This person will need to be self-motivated as they will be required to work to specific time frames
• This person will need to have a proven record of excellent timekeeping as the role will be pivotal to the running of each shift
