We are currently recruiting for a Despatch Supervisor; reporting directly to the Senior Supervisors, you will primarily oversee the Despatch Chargehands and Operatives.
Main Duties Include (but not limited to):
- Responsible for supervising all aspects of all areas within Despatch from delivering a 100% service level and in the predetermined timeframe.
- Supervise the Despatch Operatives and Chargehands ensuring they are carrying out the correct scanning and assignment of product from boxing into stock locations and correct paperwork into Despatch.
- Ensuring all Retail requirements are picked and presented in a timely manner.
- Manage the order collection and palletising, including stock rotation, maintain the shelf requirements and ensure the correct locations are used.
- Take receipt of bought-in chilled products and packaging and ingredients and manage the correct re-labelling of these lines.
- Liaise with office staff regarding loading and booking times.
- Able to talk clearly and concisely about working standards in own area.
- Manage invoicing of orders and correct distribution of paperwork.
- Manage booking in of all purchased goods and returned stock to site.
You Will Have:
- Experience in a similar role - Warehouse/Factory Supervisor/Chargehand/Experienced Skilled Operative.
- Experience leading a team (essential).
- Examples of working towards KPIs and delivering positive results.
- Previous experience in a fast-moving consumer goods environment.
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office).
