We are looking for a proactive and analytical Engineering Purchasing Analyst to support the delivery of cost-effective and sustainable purchasing strategies across engineering spend. This role sits within our Group Engineering function and works closely with site teams, procurement, and engineering to ensure supply availability, drive value, and improve data quality across the business. You will play a key role in analysing spend, supporting system improvements, and identifying opportunities to optimise supplier performance and deliver savings.

Key responsibilities include:
- Support the development and delivery of engineering purchasing strategies across the business
- Analyse and improve engineering data, reporting, and insights to support decision‑making
- Maintain and support procurement systems (including Shire, Navision, and Power BI)
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, cost savings, and supplier performance
- Review supplier bases in line with category strategies to drive value and consistency
- Monitor market trends and highlight risks and opportunities to stakeholders
- Support KPI reporting at both site and group level
- Participate in supplier review meetings to drive continuous improvement
- Support innovation initiatives and identify opportunities for new technologies
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a purchasing, procurement, or analytical role
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Experience with systems such as Navision, CMMS, or reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) - Advantageous
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A team player with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset
