We are seeking a keen individual to join our team as a Pig Stockperson at our farm in the Withernsea area.
Our farms are high health units within our growing and finishing operation.

Key Responsibilities
- Feeding, moving, serving, treating, vaccinating, and handling the pigs
- Loading and unload pigs as required by the unit’s production system
- Ensuring that animal welfare is in accordance with Company policies (Red Tractor Assured Standards)
- Ensuring that the five freedoms in respect of animal welfare are followed
- Adhering to Company Codes of Practice and Policies at all times
- Ensuring that all Feed Systems/Water systems and all other equipment is in good working order and fixing faults and report any defects immediately to your Line Manager
- Reporting any site damage immediately to the Line Manager
- Understanding the importance of biosecurity and security of the unit
- Ensuring that the unit is always kept clean and tidy and presentable to visitors with regular pressure washing being essential
- Where applicable, ensuring all buildings and compounds are secured out of working hours
About You
- Experience with livestock or an agricultural background would be advantageous, but not essential
- Ability to prioritise and complete tasks fully with strong attention to detail is a must
- Self-motivated, possess a strong work ethic, and strive to go above and beyond expectations
