We are seeking a keen individual to join our team as a Pig Stockperson on our newly established outdoor breeding unit in the Hunstanton area of Norfolk. Key Responsibilities
- Managing the team on farm daily.
- Being responsible for accurate farm record keeping and reporting these to the office and Regional Farms Manager routinely.
- Working with our pigs to ensure their health and wellbeing needs are met, including feeding, moving, serving and handling the pigs.
- Working to high standards of animal welfare.
- Maintaining the condition and appearance of the farm, creating a welcoming and safe environment for both animals and visitors.
- Operate and maintain modern farm machinery.
About You
- Multiple years experience managing an outdoor pig breeding unit.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of the pig production cycle.
- Ability to prioritise and complete tasks fully with strong attention to detail is a must.
- Focused on animal welfare.
- Self-motivated, possess a strong work ethic, and strive to go above and beyond expectations.
- Full driving licence is required.
