Include:

  • Reliable and available for on-call work, living within 10 minutes of the site
  • Carry out routine checks and daily maintenance tasks
  • Confident use of tools with basic electrical knowledge
  • Responsible for repairing and maintaining incubators
  • Assist with general hatchery operations
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised hatchery environment
  • Full driving licence required
  • Able to work independently and manage tasks alone
  • To comply with relevant Engineering specifications, and Environmental, Health & Safety policies and current legislation

  • Previous knowledge or experience
  • A mechanical and engineering qualification with experience in a similar role is desirable
