Job requirements of Supervisor
We are looking for a Supervisor to join our established Production team at Cranswick Country Foods Fresh Poultry in Eye, Suffolk. You will be responsible for leading and motivating your team comprised of Team Leaders and Operatives to ensure production KPIs are met.
Shift Pattern
– Monday-Friday, 16:40-01:40
Duties
- Motivate your team to achieve the daily production plan safely, efficiently and to our high quality standards.
- Ensure our product is produced to highest quality standards, working to BRC standards and major retailer requirements.
- Troubleshoot – ‘Walking the factory floor’ to identify any issues ahead of them arising and taking appropriate action. Dealing with issues as and when required.
- Ad hoc projects and duties alongside the Department Manager and site management team as appropriate.
- Ensure that your team are operating within high quality, safety and legality standards.
- To ensure production KPIs are met
What you will need
- To have previous experience in a fast paced food manufacturing environment.
- To have the ability to motivate a team.
- To be self-motivated and be able to work on your own initiative.
- Ideally hold a level 2 food safety certificate.
- To have a good level and written and verbal English
