We are looking for a Night Hygiene Operative to join our established Hygiene team at Cranswick Country Foods Fresh Poultry in Eye, Suffolk. You will be responsible for ensuring the factory is kept clean and tidy, ensuring safe production.
Shift Pattern:
- Week 1: working 4 days - 21.40 to 07.40 (38 hours)
- Week 2: working 4 days – 3 days working 21.40 to 07.40 and 1 day (Saturday) – 18:40 to 06:40 (40 hours)
- Week 3: Working 5 days – 2 days (Saturday and Sunday) working 18:40 to 06:40 and 3 days working 21.40 – 07:40 (51.50 hours)
Duties:
- To take responsibility for the cleaning required to make things safe and healthy for the distribution to our customers.
- Various aspects will be involved including cleaning verification, equipment checks and PPE checks to make sure that everything they have is in the correct condition.
- There will also be a requirement for you to fill in the paperwork for the work you have completed for the day.
- Duties and responsibilities can change regularly based on the factory needs.
What you will need:
- Understanding and application of hazard identification and near miss reporting.
- Understanding of Manual Handling and Working at height.
- Understanding of relevant risk assessments and trained as competent to safe working procedures.
- Hygiene experience advantageous, however not essential.

- Rate of Pay - £16.35 per hour (inclusive of £1 per hour weekly attendance bonus).
