Job requirements of Site Electrical Technician:
- Daily management of the entire site, including the effluent plant electrical activities and maintenance in accordance with UK legislation throughout the site.
- Assisting the Engineering Managers, providing an Effective Control for all outside contractors engaged in Engineering Installation or Improvement Works across the factory.
- Assisting the Engineering Managers to ensure the Engineering Stores are Efficient, that any Wastage is Minimal and that all Engineering Costs are minimised.
- Provide Accurate Data and up to date Information to the Engineering Managers on any Safety Incidents, Breakdown or Loss Production Downtime, Site Damage or any Unusual or Excessive Engineering Spends.
- Assist the Engineering Managers with the Maintenance, Control, Metering and Management of the Site Services Equipment throughout the Factory.
What you will need:
- An engineering qualification of min. NVQ level 3 in electrical engineering/maintenance and be 18th edition certified, or equivalent experience.
- To be motivated and able to use your own initiative.
- Be flexible with daily working hours for handovers and occasional overtime.
- Excellent communication skills are a must for liaising with internal departments and external contractors.
- Ideally you will have experience working with food processing and packaging equipment, however training on this specialist equipment can be provided for the right candidate.
