We are seeking an Assistant Farm Manager to support our Farm Manager in all aspects of the day-to-day management in Rickinghall, Diss Area, Suffolk.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the farms to ensure that bird welfare is never compromised.
  • Manage and monitor ventilation, heating, feed, water, litter and lighting within the agreed standards, ensuring the highest quality conditions are provided.
  • Manage and control visitors/contractors on site ensuring that work is carried out to required specification and quality and work is carried out in a safe manner.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally we are looking for a candidate with experience in this sector of the industry.
  • Team player.
  • Numerate and literate to record farm data.
  • Driving licence/own transport as our farms are based in rural locations.

  • Salary: £31,622 increasing to £33,874 (working 45 hours weekly, 6 days out of 7).
