We produce and supply premium food to high profile UK grocery retailers, the food service sector and other UK and global customers. Our Riverside facility sits in the Fresh Pork division and is a sister site to our primary processing facility in Preston, Hull. The site has undergone recent and significant factory investment with a focussed future strategy, delivering best-in-market supply chain standards and creating a quality culture that puts our customer's needs at the forefront of all our decisions.
We are currently recruiting for a Despatch Stock Controller to be responsible for efficient and effective stock taking and all associated paperwork.
Main Duties Include (but not limited to):
- Liaise with Despatch Supervisors regarding customer daily requirements and shorts to enable the fulfilment of all orders.
- Ensuring products are stored correctly while maintaining traceability at all times.
- Ensure shorts sheet is correctly completed and maintained in a timely manner.
- Reporting any issues or shortfalls when required.
- Conduct daily stock checks.
- Assist Despatch team in any areas as and when required.
- Maintain food safety standards at all times.
What We Look For:
- Previous experience in a similar role – stock controller, despatch, warehousing, food industry.
- Experience within fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments to daily targets.
- Attention to detail and 'right first time' approach.
- Understanding of importance of food hygiene and safety.
