Cranswick Gourmet Sausage Co. (Lazenby’s) is our fast-paced sausage facility located in Hull. Using only the best cuts of British pork, fresh herbs and spices, Cranswick are the UK’s leading producer of gourmet sausages and burgers, supplying major retailers and foodservice outlets alike.
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our Despatch team as a Despatch Operative, to assist in meeting the requirements of the daily schedule whilst working in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, food safety legislation and quality standards specified by our customers.
Shift: 4on 4off, 06:00-18:00 (12hrs with one hr unpaid break)
Pay Rate: £12.99 per hour
The main duties of the role include:
- To complete the requirements of the daily picking sheet distributed by the Despatch Area Lead
- Undertake stock rotation; despatching finished stock in the correct picking order
- Load and unload products onto and from vehicles as instructed
- To assist during internal/external audits as required
- To communicate any stock shortages to the Despatch Area Lead after completing the orders of each customer
- Ensure the achievement of daily departmental targets as determined by your line manager in a time effective manner
Candidate requirements:
- Good level of written and spoken English
- Strong attention to detail
- Be organised and efficient
