Cranswick Country Foods, Staithes Road, Preston, Hull, HU12 8TB. Cranswick is a leading UK food producer with revenue of over £2.6 Billion. We produce and supply premium food to high profile UK grocery retailers, the food service sector and other UK and global customers. We are currently recruiting for Bulk Operatives to be based in our Bulk Packing department within our Butchery Factory.

Main Duties Include (but not limited to):

  • Lifting and sorting of meat joints to crates and packing areas
  • Feeding joints into different machines
  • Comfortable operating around various machines and learning to use some
  • Opportunity to upskill in label verification and potentially further
  • Maintain a clean and tidy area meeting both safety and hygiene regulations
  • Wear appropriate PPE at all times
  • Contribute to KPIs in quality, health, safety and environment, yields and customer service

What We Look For:

  • Experience in a similar role - Production Operative, Warehouse Operative, Picker/Packer - beneficial but not essential
  • Enthusiasm to learn something new
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment to meet daily targets
  • Good understanding of both food safety/hygiene and health and safety
  • Transport to get to site (HU12 8TB)
