We are looking for an EV/Offal Room Operative to join our established team here at Cranswick Country Foods Fresh Poultry in Eye, Suffolk. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the EV/Offal Room, with duties including offal packing and grading of organs.

Shift Pattern: 4 shifts per week on a 3 week rotating shift pattern, 03:45–14:15 – Days Monday – Friday, 14:15pm – 22:45pm – Nights.

Duties: To support with the general production of our chicken products, duties will include but are not limited to; offal packing, grading of organs and more. Abiding to Food Safety, Hygiene and COSHH to ensure safe production of our products. Duties and responsibilities can change regularly based on the factory needs.

What you will need:

  • Be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative.
  • Enjoy working to targets in a fast paced environment.
  • Possess high standards of work.
  • Have a basic level of both written and verbal English.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team.
  • Ideally have experience of working within the food production industry, however this is not necessary as full training will be provided.

  • Rate of Pay: £14.63 per hour, £14.56 per hour (Rate inclusive of a £1 per hour weekly attendance bonus).
