- Ensure that all components (packaging and ingredients) and equipment (baskets and dollies) are available for production to meet their needs
- Ensure Production returns are received in a serviceable condition that does not compromise food safety
- Ensure stocks are maintained with a high degree of accuracy
- Count stock daily
- Inform the Stores Supervisor or Senior Supervisor of any replenishment needs
- Ensure stock issues are made as per company policy & procedure
- Assist with the issue and return of ingredients
- Always maintain store security
- Ensuring that all stores' areas always kept clean and tidy
- Complete all relevant paperwork correctly in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure that all items of packaging and ingredients carry the correct labelling and documentation
Experience in a similar role - stores operative, stores person, warehouse operative, intake operative - Strong awareness of health and safety in the workplace
- Attention to detail
- Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
