Would you like to be part of a progressive and expanding business which will not only offer you job security and fulfilment, but also the opportunity to develop and progress? Crown Farms & Milling, part of the successful Cranswick PLC., is currently seeking a Farm Maintenance person.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring equipment is maintained, serviced, fit for use and that sites are ready for intake on time, including reactive work on building fabric and equipment.
- Experience on drinkers, water distribution, feeders, heaters, and ventilation systems desirable.
- Travel around East Anglia to farms.
- On call 5 in 1 weekends.
- Communicate to Farm Managers.
- Report all issues and completed jobs to your Line Manager.
- Give priority to animal welfare, health, safety and environmental matters.
- Be aware of Health and Safety Standards and requirements and ensure that all codes of practice are adhered to.
Qualifications & Attributes:
- Previous knowledge or experience.
- A mechanical and engineering qualification with experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Hard working – Can do attitude.
- Van provided, to carry out work on over 70 farms in the Norfolk and Suffolk area.
