We are looking for an Environmental Engineer to join our established Engineering team at Cranswick Country Foods Fresh Poultry in Eye, Suffolk.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all machinery is operating correctly to maintain smooth running of production.
- Assess all environmental aspects that will affect the site.
- Monitor all renewable energy sources present on site.
- Ensure all meters onsite are working correctly and linking up to any available system onsite.
- Assist in maintenance and development of mechanisms and implementation of effective maintenance routines.
- Assist with the training and development of all apprentices within the department.
- Create and review method statements and risk assessments.
Qualifications
- Experience in engineering, ideally in an FMCG environment.
- A mixture of mechanical and electrical engineering skills and experience.
- Level 3 H&S awareness and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications.
