The predicted salary is between 29356 - 35880 £ per year.

Shift Pattern: Rotating shift A

Working Hours: 5.30am-2.00pm and following week 1.30pm-10pm and every other weekend (Sat & Sun)

Pay Rate: £12.75

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Operative to join our Slicing Department. As a Production Operative, you will play a leading part within the production team to help achieve the daily production plan whilst adhering to processes and procedures. Within this role you will be factory based directly handling cooked meat, processing & slicing the products.

You will:

  • Ensure the achievement of the daily production plan and communicate any issues with the relevant person in a timely manner.
  • Comply with all processes and procedures set out by the production management teams and other key areas ensuring food safety, hygiene and quality standards are achieved at all times.
  • Keep your workstation clean, tidy and free from debris to reduce the risk of accidents and comply with food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Complete any other tasks required within production as requested by management.

*Please note that this role may require heavy lifting and the factory is a chilled environment.*

Desirable: Whilst full training will be provided, a sound knowledge of basic food safety would be advantageous.
