Overview

As a QA Auditor you will lead QA activities at the Valley Park site, ensuring food safety, quality, and legal/commercial compliance. You will collaborate with Production, Hygiene, Engineering and Planning to uphold control mechanisms and drive continuous improvement. The role focuses on audits (GMP, HACCP, glass/foreign body, hygiene), CCP monitoring, and timely documentation and release processes. You will investigate issues, escalate where needed, and help cultivate a strong quality culture across the site. This is an opportunity to shape quality assurance in a large-scale meat manufacturer.

Responsibilities

  • Support site Quality Assurance activities and ensure control mechanisms are followed
  • Monitor food safety, quality, and compliance with standards and legislation
  • Conduct QA, GMP, HACCP, glass, foreign body and hygiene audits to set frequencies
  • Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) and challenge non-compliance
  • Carry out product sampling, intake checks, temperature monitoring, and positive release processes
  • Manage raw material quality and traceability per specifications and legislation
  • Ensure technical documentation is accurate and timely
  • Investigate quality issues, escalate concerns, and follow actions to resolution
  • Support continuous improvement in GMP, hygiene, KPIs, and audit performance
  • Promote a strong quality culture and work with Production, Hygiene, Engineering, and Planning teams

Key requirements
