4 on 4 off shift pattern, working 18:15-06:00

Cranswick is a leading UK food producer with revenue of over £2 Billion. We produce and supply premium food to high profile UK grocery retailers, the food service sector and other UK and global customers. Now with 22 sites nationwide, Cranswick are dedicated to growing and developing our team.

Our Riverside site is growing! We are on the look out for Trimmers to join the factory team. Ideally this position is for people who already have food factory experience.

Main duties include (but not limited to):

  • Under the guidance of Senior Line Leaders, ensure that each product specification is followed and any anomalies are reported immediately
  • Ensure all products are trimmed to match their specification
  • Remove rind where necessary
  • Separate trim, rind and bone where necessary
  • To ensure that any production targets set by the Senior Line Leaders are met; or if this is not possible, shortfalls are reported to the relevant person in a timely manner
  • To understand the importance of yields and customer specifications
  • Carry out training commensurate with the area including regular refresher/update training as and when required
  • To report any equipment defects immediately to the Line Leader
  • Mentor new employees within the Department
