An opportunity has arisen at our state-of-the-art trial facility to maintain the health and well-being of our commercial finisher pigs through responsible farming practices. We utilise an advanced computer feed system to monitor daily feed intake, ensuring that our pigs receive the optimal nutrition they need for healthy growth and development.

Main Duties

  • Engage in hands-on care for pigs in a modern indoor unit, ensuring their health and well-being standards are not just met, but exceeded.
  • Complete daily tasks such as feeding, vaccinating, moving, and handling the livestock.
  • Load and unload pigs as needed.
  • Play a key role in maintaining the condition and appearance of our farm, creating a welcoming environment for both animals and visitors.
  • Operate state-of-the-art farm machinery, adding a technological edge to your daily tasks.

Requirements, Experience and Person Specification

  • Experience with livestock or an agricultural background would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • Ability to prioritise and complete tasks fully with strong attention to detail is a must.
  • Self-motivated, possess a strong work ethic, and strive to go above and beyond expectations.
