Cranswick Country Foods Poultry Prepared is a specialty producer of delicious, cooked poultry ingredients and is a leading innovator in the industry. We create exciting, original products that meet the needs of today’s busy consumers. We are proud to have opened a brand new, purpose-built, breaded chicken factory and have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Engineer.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving the Engineering team to improve equipment availability and reliability, ensuring safe and cost-effective product production.
- Ensuring compliance with Engineering specifications, Environmental, Health & Safety policies, and current legislation.
- Assisting the Engineering Manager with maintenance strategies to meet site and business goals, including proactive maintenance.
- Supporting the implementation of strategies with clear accountabilities, milestones, and targets, utilizing best practice tools and techniques.
- Identifying opportunities for equipment upgrades or replacements and managing these processes.
- Completing engineering tasks in collaboration with the Engineering Manager and Operations colleagues.
- Ensuring staff involved in plant operation receive proper information and instruction per manufacturer guidance.
- Possessing machine/process operational skills to provide supervision, cover, and suggest improvements.
- Performing other responsibilities as appropriate for the role and as requested by the Directors.
