We are looking for a dynamic Projects and Engineering Manager with a passion for driving innovation within the food industry or FMCG sector ensuring operational excellence and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
- Devise and implement long term strategy for the development of the facility, assets and supporting systems to ensure they are fit for purpose, maximizing run time and reliability.
- Collaborate with operations, Technical, H&S and HR teams to ensure compliance and industry standards. Developing strong working relationships and encouraging consistency.
- Work alongside the Operations Director to oversee budget planning and capital expenditure for the maintenance of the site as well as upgrades and expansions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through innovation and development.
- Manage and mentor the engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and inclusion.
Qualifications / What you will need
- Proven experience in engineering leadership within the food industry or related FMCG sector.
- You will ideally have an engineering related qualification of higher education level.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to drive continuous improvements
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
