Cranswick Country Foods Poultry is a specialty producer of cooked poultry ingredients and a leading innovator in the industry. We create exciting, original products that meet the needs of today’s busy consumers.
We are currently looking to hire a Hygiene Manager to join our Hygiene team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the hygiene team to ensure work is carried out correctly and efficiently to meet the expectations of the business.
- Supervise the work of hygiene team leaders.
- Ensure CIC documentation is up to date and review it every 6 months.
- Maintain hygiene paperwork and paperless systems.
- Ensure the correct cleaning chemicals, materials, and equipment are available.
- Coordinate all hygiene-related corrective actions in response to audits and visits.
- Identify key risk areas in food operations for early remedial actions.
- Manage, coach, and develop the team, ensuring appropriate development plans are in place.
- Manage the budget to meet targets and communicate any overspend in advance.
- Find ways to improve efficiency by utilizing staff resources and machinery effectively.
- Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas and reduce waste costs where possible.
- Deliver training to new and existing team members according to production, food safety, and technical protocols.
Shift: Monday to Friday
Salary: £59,000 per annum
