Job Description:

Cranswick Poultry Added Value is a specialty producer of delicious, cooked poultry ingredients and is a leading innovator in the industry. We create exciting, original products that meet the needs of today’s busy consumers.

The main purpose of the role is to be the first point of contact for all Environmental issues and support management team in carrying out Environment assessments in line with legislation.

The key elements of the role are:

  • Proactively support the Environmental Management system for the site.
  • Driving new Environmental initiatives that will maintain and improve the sites Environmental function.
  • Assist in the completion of accident investigations and reviewing of risk assessments after accidents/incidents.
  • Conduct a full and thorough investigation of Environmental issues that occur on site or are reported to site.
  • Assist the Ops Manager/Site Director in ensuring all Environmental issues/reports/complaints are reported and recorded correctly and accurately.
  • Carry out internal Environment audits and inspections.
  • Proactively promote awareness of Environmental issues throughout the site.
  • Complete reports for site leadership team pertaining to all environmental key site metrics.
  • Be the point of contact for specific Second Nature projects (Food Waste Reduction / Plastic Recycling)
