Job Description:
Assistant Technical Manager
Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
Cranswick Country Foods, Riverside, William Wright Dock, Hull, HU1 2ET
Main Duties Include (but not limited to):
- Management of customer portals including Asda and Sainsbury\’s
- Management of Artwork and Specification approval systems
- Direct involvement with onsite audits with support from the site technical manager (experience with BRC and customer standard required)
- Maintain the site risk assessment and gap analysis library with support from the site technical manager
- Manage a team of 2 direct reports, 2 specification technologists
- Ownership of site non-conformance closure with support from the site technical manager
- Management of the site QMS (Quality Management System) with the ability to review, write, and amend procedural documentation
- Deputises for the Site Technical Manager when required
- Maintain and build external customer relationships through effective closure of non-conformance, complaint responses and general queries
- Maintain site compliance through management of the internal audit system and completion of site internal audits
- Maintain the site pest control system and work as the point of contact for site for all pest control communications
