CYP Substance Use Worker
Salary Range: £25,630 -£30,490 per annum
Contract: Duration of 6 months, potential of permanent role
Hours: 35 per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to be part of our new children and young people’s substance team in Sutton. As part of the new Cranstoun Here4YOUth Team, you will provide a range of tailored interventions with young people depending upon their presenting drug of choice, complexity and need. You will also provide support and build resilience with children and young people whose parents or other family members use drugs or alcohol.
You will be responsible for holding and managing a case load of children & young people across the Borough of Sutton. This is an outreach role where you will be engaging with young people where they feel most comfortable including schools, colleges, other partner agencies and local community venues.
Working with a trauma informed approach, you will provide specialist assessments, care planning, and deliver evidence based psychosocial brief and structured interventions through one-to-one appointments, groups, and online. You will work closely with a range of partner agencies to support young people to achieve positive change whilst providing opportunities to improve their life chances for a brighter future.
