An exciting opportunity has arisen within the services, and we have a number of vacancies within our services. We provide a range of services for those affected by drugs and alcohol across Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM). Our skilled and compassionate people work closely with the people who use our services and their families to change and save lives.
Across RBWM, Cranstoun coordinates the treatment and support of people who use our services, helping them to deal with their substance use so that they can change their lives, be happy and reach their goals. Cranstoun’s local Key Worker (Criminal Justice) will be based in service and will be paramount in enhancing the overall service offer.
You will be responsible for delivering all elements of substance use work including:
- Case management
- Needle syringe programme
- Harm reduction
- Outreach
- Group work
- Access and engagement support
- Other associated duties
You will be responsible for delivering a good quality and safe environment to the people you manage and supervise, ensuring they have been provided with the tools to support others. You will have good knowledge of harm reduction and if you are someone who enjoys problem solving to help people to change their lives for the better, this role’s right for you. The most important thing you’ll bring to this role is your desire and ability to make a positive difference to people’s lives.
Our staff teams are motivated and committed to delivering a quality service to residents of RBWM and we are looking for like-minded individuals to join us. You will have good Microsoft Office skills and be able to manage your own diary efficiently and proactively. You will have integrity, enthusiasm, and a passion to make a difference.
The service operates core hours of Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. We also offer additional service hours on a Tuesday between 9am – 7pm which may occasionally need covering. All posts are subject to an enhanced DBS Disclosure.
