About the role
We are looking for a confident, compassionate and skilled Clinical Lead to provide expert clinical leadership across our Derby drug and alcohol service. This is a senior role with real influence to shape clinical practice, supporting a multidisciplinary workforce and ensuring safe, high-quality care for people with complex needs.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the delivery of safe, trauma-informed and evidence-based clinical care across hub, outreach and partnership settings
- Drive high standards of clinical governance, medicines management and safeguarding across the service
- Combine strategic clinical leadership with visible operational oversight, helping to shape a service that is responsive, inclusive and outcomes-focused
- Ensure people receive timely, effective and person-centred treatment
- Embed trauma-informed, recovery-oriented approaches across the service
- Lead audit, clinical review and learning from incidents and work with local and national partnerships to develop best practice and innovation
- Support quality review processes and compliance with all Care Quality Commission standards
About you
We’re looking for someone who brings both clinical credibility and compassionate leadership.
- Professional registration (e.g. NMC, GPhC or equivalent)
- A prescribing qualification or equivalent advanced clinical training
- Significant experience in drug and alcohol services (or related field) in a senior role
- Experience managing complex risk, safeguarding and multi-agency working
- Experience of providing clinical supervision and workforce development
- Experience working in regulated environments and supporting quality assurance
