Global Manufacturer require a Mechanical Design Engineer or Stress Engineer (to circa 50K & Bonus) to deliver new top of the range concepts.

Ideally you'll have strong 3D modelling skills OR Stress Engineer/ FEA experience or knowledge. As a Mechanical Engineer you'll validate designs, analyse materials, problem-solve and create project reports.

The Role:

  • Create 3D Designs or Test and Validate Designs carrying out structural analysis / FEA
  • Liaise with in-house engineering departments & Production
  • Review Concepts & Designs - research markets
  • Ensure Products meet regulations
  • Solve Problems and Investigate failures

The Person:

  • Engineering Degree, or excellent experience to replace this
  • Ability to problem-solve and provide creative and logical solutions
  • Experience of 3D modelling or Stress/ FEA related Projects
  • Comfortable meeting deadlines within a Manufacturing environment
  • Well organised with good document management & IT skills
