Large Manufacturer requires a Mechanical Design Engineer(40-50K Package) with Manufacturing floor experience to adopt a key R&D role. You'll combine Mechanical Design Engineer & Manufacturing Engineer duties. You will act as a link between Production & Design within a Global Vehicle Manufacturing environment. The Role: Carry out 3D Modelling on Vehicle Designs within R&D Division Lead Prototype Builds and Interface between Design, Manufacturing & Quality Depts Carry out Design for Manufacture Reviews, Investigate Issues & Problem Solve Develop Manufacturing Processes including Tooling, Fixtures & Work Instructions Drive Permanent Improvements The Person: Manufacturing related degree and 3-4 plus years' experience within Manufacturing Strong 3D modelling skills and ERP/ MRP and document mgt experience Strong Understanding of Manufacturing processes Root Cause Analysis, FMEA and possess Problem Solving skills You'll be comfortable working in a fast paced R&D environment In Return our Client will offer you attractive salary with Bonus, career progression and training and a job for life within a high volume exciting environment.
