The predicted salary is between 47500 - 52500 £ per year.

Global Manufacturer require a Mechanical Design Engineer or Stress Engineer (to circa 50K & Bonus) to deliver new top of the range concepts. Ideally you'll have strong 3D modelling skills OR Stress Engineer/ FEA experience or knowledge. As a Mechanical Engineer you'll validate designs, analyse materials, problem-solve and create project reports. Extensive benefits Package, inc. generous holidays and working hours. Strong Graduates (2 years plus exp) considered.

The Role:

  • Create 3D Designs or Test and Validate Designs carrying out structural analysis / FEA
  • Liaise with in-house engineering depts & Production
  • Review Concepts & Designs - research markets.
  • Ensure Products meet regulations
  • Solve Problems and Investigate failures

The Person:

  • Engineering Degree, or excellent experience to replace this
  • Ability to problem-solve and provide creative and logical solutions.
  • Experience of 3D modelling or Stress/ FEA related Projects
  • Comfortable meeting deadlines within a Manufacturing environment.
  • Well organised with good document management & IT skills.
