Global Manufacturer require a Mechanical Design Engineer or Stress Engineer (to circa 50K & Bonus) to deliver new top of the range concepts. Ideally you'll have strong 3D modelling skills OR Stress Engineer/ FEA experience or knowledge.
As a Mechanical Engineer you'll validate designs, analyse materials, problem-solve and create project reports. Extensive benefits Package, including generous holidays and working hours. Strong Graduates (2 years plus experience) considered.
The Role:
- Create 3D Designs or Test and Validate Designs carrying out structural analysis / FEA
- Liaise with in-house engineering departments & Production
- Review Concepts & Designs - research markets
- Ensure Products meet regulations
- Solve Problems and Investigate failures
The Person:
- Engineering Degree, or excellent experience to replace this
- Ability to problem-solve and provide creative and logical solutions
- Experience of 3D modelling or Stress/ FEA related Projects
- Comfortable meeting deadlines within a Manufacturing environment
- Well organised with good document management & IT skills
