Our Fabulous Manufacturing Client require a PLC Automation Engineer (50-55K) / Electrical Design Engineer to join a thriving R&D Automation/ Design team. Superb Benefits package. As a PLC Automation Engineer/ Electrical Design Engineer, you will carry out 2D schematics/ design develop and test PLC software & Control Systems for hybrid/ electric vehicles. The Role Creation of new Specifications related to vehicle Automation 2D Electrical Design, test and maintain PLC Software Control Systems Utilise the latest Vehicle battery powered technologies Test assembly methods and materials and carry out market research Test new vehicle ranges/ control systems, minimising human error on prototypes Identify issues and implement solutions with Production Team The Person You will have a BEng Electrical OR strong hands-on experience within an Industrial/ Automotive setting You will have strong 2D electrical design skills Ability to develop PLC code advantageous – e.g. Siemens, Allen Bradley, Codesys or similar (training provided) Good people skills when dealing with Clients/ Suppliers In return our Client will provide you with a career for life within an exciting R&D environment.
