Job Description
Our client is seeking talented Senior Analysts to join their team, based out of the London office in Euston.
As a Senior Analyst, you will help to support clients in driving innovation and overcoming challenges in the life sciences industry. You will have a greater level of independence and project management responsibilities than Analysts, with guidance from more senior team members. This may involve:
- Effective project management of workstreams or small initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards
- Development and delivery of high-quality project materials and client deliverables (e.g., slide decks, reports)
- Delivery of clear and to-the-point communications (e.g. presentations, emails) both to the internal team and to external senior-level pharmaceutical industry stakeholders
- Primary research (e.g. interviews with clients, physicians, payers, patients…) and secondary research (e.g. data collection from existing literature, studies, surveys…)
- Analysis of data and modelling to extract insights
Senior Analysts may additionally be in charge of overseeing another Analyst’s workstream alongside their own project responsibilities and will often lead direct communications with the clients.
Basic Requirements
- A minimum of a 2.1 scientific or technical undergraduate degree. A second degree, e.g. MBA, MSc, MPharm or PhD is an advantage, but not necessary
- Solid knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry either through working in the industry or previous consulting experience (1 – 3 years)
- Must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
- Excellent professional communication skills (oral, interpersonal, and written)
- Exceptional collaboration skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to highest quality outputs
- Passion, pro-activity and commitment to professional service
- Proficiency with the MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Preferred: Experience with business transformation, systems implementation, and/or product management within the pharmaceutical industry
- Preferred: Understanding of and experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems e.g. Veeva CRM, Salesforce
Our client is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any otherwise qualified employee or applicant on the basis of race, creed, religion, ancestry, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, marital status, nationality, disability, or veteran status.
