Senior Analyst
Our client, a fast-growing boutique life sciences consulting firm, is seeking talented Senior Analysts to join their team, based in the Central London office.
As a Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting clients within the life sciences industry, helping them to drive innovation and overcome challenges. You will have independence and project management responsibilities, with support and guidance from senior team members.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Effective project management of workstreams or small initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and maintaining high quality standards
- Development and delivery of high-quality project materials and client deliverables (e.g., slide decks, reports)
- Clear and concise communication (e.g., presentations, emails) both within the team and with external senior-level pharmaceutical industry stakeholders
- Primary research (e.g., interviews with clients, physicians, payers, patients) and secondary research (e.g., data collection from existing literature, studies, surveys)
- Analysis of data and modelling to extract valuable insights
In addition to the responsibilities above, Senior Analysts may oversee the work of other Analysts and will often be directly involved in client communications, leading initiatives with a strong degree of responsibility.

Requirements
- A minimum of a 2.1 scientific or technical undergraduate degree. A second degree (e.g., MBA, MSc, MPharm, or PhD) is an advantage, but not essential
- Solid knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, either through industry experience or previous consulting experience (1-3 years)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to approach problems creatively
- Excellent communication skills (oral, interpersonal, and written)
- Exceptional collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to delivering the highest quality work
- Passion, proactivity, and a strong commitment to professional service
- Proficiency with the MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
Candidates with previous experience in one or more of the following areas are strongly preferred:
- Operating Model: Leading successful organisational transformations (e.g., processes, systems, governance) and change management initiatives
- Asset and Portfolio Strategy: Leading or supporting initiatives such as Brand Planning or Evidence Generation Planning, particularly within Medical Affairs
- Capability Building & Training: Designing and delivering training programs to enhance team competencies and performance in pharma, biotech, or other life sciences organizations
