We’re supporting an innovative clean energy business in the search for a Quality Engineer to join their growing operations team.
About the Role
This is a hands‑on role, working closely with engineering and production teams to drive quality improvements directly on the shop floor.
Responsibilities
- Support and improve product and process quality across engineering, production, and prototyping
- Work closely with teams on the shop floor to identify, resolve, and elevate quality issues
- Maintain and develop the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS)
- Lead investigations into non‑conformances using structured problem‑solving tools (8D, 5 Whys, etc.)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve right‑first‑time delivery
- Support audits, quality reporting, and data analysis
- Assist with inspection activities across incoming materials and finished products
Qualifications
- Experience working within an ISO 9001 environment
- Background in a hands‑on Quality Engineer or similar role
Required Skills
- Strong problem‑solving skills and experience with quality tools/methodologies
- Comfortable working on the shop floor and engaging with operational teams
- Ability to communicate effectively and report issues up to management
