We are supporting BioChek – Smart Veterinary Diagnostics, a growing organisation within the life sciences sector, in the search for a Quality Assurance Manager. This is a key leadership role responsible for shaping and maintaining the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement across operations. Working within a collaborative and evolving environment, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams to influence quality strategy while remaining hands-on in delivery.

This position offers the opportunity to lead quality assurance activities in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment. You will play a central role in maintaining ISO standards, enhancing quality processes, and supporting business growth through robust QA strategy and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO9001 standards
  • Oversee document control systems, including record management and archiving
  • Manage non-conformance and CAPA processes
  • Plan and conduct internal audits, ensuring readiness for external audits
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality across the product lifecycle
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practices
  • Prepare and present quality metrics and reports to leadership
  • Facilitate customer complaint processes and stakeholder communication
  • Support and develop a small QA team, including training and performance oversight
