We’re looking for a Quality Control Testing Technician who takes pride in accuracy and enjoys being hands‑on in a manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll make a meaningful impact on the quality and reliability of specialised materials used in high‑performance industries.
Permanent, Full‑time.
Working Hours: Weekly rotating shifts – Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 & 10:00 – 18:00.
Responsibilities:
- Perform QC testing on both incoming materials and manufactured products.
- Ensure compliance with BS EN 9100, BS EN ISO 14001 and BS EN ISO 45001 standards.
- Work with autoclaves to support cure validation and quality requirements.
- Conduct visual inspection, dimensional checks and mechanical testing.
- Support non‑destructive testing (NDT) activities such as ultrasonic inspection where required.
- Record and maintain accurate data for full material traceability.
- Contribute to KPI tracking and continuous improvement activities.
- Support investigations into material or process non‑conformance.
- Keep equipment and work areas organised, calibrated and safe.
Requirements:
- Experience in a quality, testing or inspection environment (manufacturing preferred).
- A strong eye for detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Competent IT skills: Microsoft Excel and Word essential.
- Good communication and organisation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously once trained.
- Experience with any of the following is a bonus: Autoclaves, Ultrasonic testing or other NDT.
