If you have experience with LC-MS and a passion for advancing biologics, this could be a great opportunity to apply your skills in a forward-thinking environment.

The Role:

You’ll develop and optimise LC-MS methods (e.g., intact mass and N-released glycosylation analysis) and help establish a robust routine analytical service. Your work will support key characterisation of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies and integrate closely with upstream development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimise LC-MS assays for mAb characterisation
  • Set up and maintain a routine LC-MS service, including team training
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation and ensure data quality
  • Standardise analysis templates compatible with ELNs and ML integration
  • Collaborate across scientific teams to ensure alignment
  • Maintain detailed, GLP-compliant experimental records
  • Contribute to SOPs, lab upkeep, and internal presentations

What We’re Looking For:

  • BSc or MSc in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Analytical Chemistry, or similar
  • 3+ years’ hands-on experience in LC-MS analysis of biologics
  • Strong understanding of assay development and CQA analysis
  • Excellent documentation and problem-solving skills

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with Waters BioAccord and Benchling
  • Exposure to high-throughput pipelines and broader mAb analytics (e.g., ELISA, qPCR)
  • Familiarity with ICH guidelines and QbD principles

Location: Oxford

Salary: Competitive + benefits
