Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Full-Time)

Location: Based near Horsham (with site travel)

Reporting to: Business Unit Managers & Group H&S Manager

Role Summary: This is a temporary opportunity to support Group-wide Health & Safety compliance and improvement. The postholder will assist in maintaining the Health & Safety Management System, ensuring legal compliance, conducting audits, promoting safe practices, and supporting operational teams across various sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support implementation and monitoring of the H&S Management System
  • Conduct internal audits, inspections, and site visits
  • Carry out risk assessments and assist in RAMS development
  • Lead or support incident investigations and reporting
  • Monitor and report on H&S performance and statistics
  • Deliver toolbox talks and internal H&S training
  • Liaise with external auditors, clients, and subcontractors
  • Support H&S input into project tenders and meetings

Requirements:

  • Relevant H&S experience, ideally in construction or manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and HSE guidance
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • CSCS Card and UK Driving Licence required
