Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (40-hour working week)

We are partnering exclusively with a well-established manufacturing business operating within the industrial sector, supplying specialist products to a broad range of commercial customers across the UK. The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced QHSE Manager to join my client's team to drive forward the next stage of their QHSE strategy. Reporting to the Operations & Systems Director, this hands-on role will take responsibility for all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining compliance, driving continuous improvement, and supporting operational standards across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain QHSE systems and procedures across both sites
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and ISO standards
  • Lead internal and external audits, inspections, and investigations
  • Maintain and develop the ISO 9001 Quality Management System
  • Support and implement ISO 14001 environmental processes
  • Investigate accidents, incidents and non-conformances, implementing corrective actions
  • Produce QHSE reports, KPI data and trend analysis for senior management
  • Maintain quality records, calibration logs, and procedural documentation
  • Chair QHSE and quality meetings
  • Provide practical guidance and support to operational teams
  • Manage and support the Quality Assurance Technician
  • Conduct product inspections and review technical drawings where required

Candidate Requirements

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (essential)
  • Minimum 5 years’ QHSE experience within a manufacturing, production, engineering, or warehouse & logistics environment
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 systems
  • Experience within a hands-on operational environment
  • Previous auditing and investigation experience
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Confident working closely with production and operational teams
  • Full UK driving licence

Salary & Benefits

£45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
