BioChek is hiring for a Technical Specialist to join their Manufacturing and Quality team. Reporting directly to the Head of Manufacturing and QC, this role offers the opportunity to work across production, analytical, and quality functions while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
This position could suit candidates from a range of backgrounds, including Manufacturing Sciences, Technical Specialist, Process Engineering, R&D, or Scientific Manufacturing environments. Candidates with strong expertise in continuous improvement, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, or ELISA-based technical work are all encouraged to apply.
Acting as a technical subject matter expert, you will support troubleshooting activities, lead investigations, improve operational performance, and contribute to process optimisation initiatives across manufacturing and quality operations.
- Lead technical investigations and support troubleshooting activities across production and analytical functions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and safety
- Support root cause analysis, non-conformance investigations, and CAPA activities
- Partner with supervisors and leadership teams to achieve operational KPIs and performance targets
- Manage technical and process improvement projects from initiation through to completion
Experience within manufacturing sciences or regulated laboratory/manufacturing environments is required.
Experience leading investigations, CAPA activities, or process improvement projects is essential.
A degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline is necessary.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Risk Management, Six Sigma, or project management methodologies would be beneficial.
