We’re recruiting a Sustainability Manager for a leading manufacturing organisation. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys turning sustainability strategy into practical action across a manufacturing environment.

You’ll work closely with Operations, Technical, R&D and Procurement, taking ownership of sustainability projects from planning through to delivery and measuring the results.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver carbon, waste and environmental reduction projects
  • Drive sustainability improvements across manufacturing operations
  • Support ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 management systems
  • Conduct internal audits and support environmental compliance
  • Own sustainability data, KPIs and reporting
  • Work with Procurement on responsible sourcing and supplier assessments
  • Partner with R&D to embed sustainability into new projects
  • Engage teams across UK and international operations to drive change

About You

A manufacturing background is essential. You’ll be a practical, delivery-focused sustainability professional who is comfortable being on the ground, engaging with operational teams and personally driving projects forward.

Experience across environmental management, carbon reduction, ISO systems, sustainability reporting and responsible sourcing would be highly advantageous.

The position will initially be site-based, moving to a hybrid working arrangement once established.

Package: Competitive salary + up to 25% bonus, Private Medical and 25 days’ holiday rising with service.
